Abstract:
Effects of slip and heat transfer on the peristaltic flow of a Williamson fluid in an inclined channel is studied under long wavelength and low Reynolds number assumptions. The perturbation technique is used to solve the problem as the equations are non linear. The stream function, the temperature distribution and the pressure rise are calculated .The effect of various parameters on the pumping characteristics and on the temperature profiles is discussed with the help of graphs.
