Abstract:
Under the technical background of static push vertical drilling tool, the design targeted at its key component - the annular disc valve is carried out. According to the friction force calculation of the disc valve, it is considered to design the valve seat structure in the form of a convex platform. Based on the finite element analysis, the clearance between the upper and lower plate valves and the height of the valve seat convex platform are determined. The annular valve structure and its flow path are further designed based on the quick shutdown response of the high and low sides of the hole. The horizontal bench test is carried out to verify its reliability. The results show that: In order to reduce the friction area of the disc valve, the two-layer combination designing is considered. The upper special-shaped hole with convex platform, and the lower special-shaped side channel structure are designed. The cemented carbide material is used to mould. The clearance between the upper and the lower disc valve should be controlled at 0.5mm, and the height of the disc valve convex platform should be controlled at 0.25mm accordingly. The horizontal bench test verifies the sealing and diversion effect of the valve. This paper provides reference for the design of vertical drilling tools.
